14 weeks 1 day!

Hello Readers,

As you can tell by the title of this blog I’m now 14 weeks and 1 day pregnant, I have some photos but can’t upload them from my phone so I’ll have to do it another time. And I also wanted to let my buddies know I will only be posting blogs once maybe twice a month since I’m not trying to loss weight just stay fit and healthy for the Baby :) I hope you all are doing well!!

Sorry buddies, just a quick update!

Sorry I haven’t been around I started work again 3 days a week, I’m starting my ‘Belly’ photo album hopeful have it up on my FB this weekend. Everyone says I’m not showing yet but I wanted to start it at 12 weeks so we took a photo last Sunday, I’ll add it to my blog once I have it up. I hope you all are doing well and I’ll try and get caught up soon. There’s also something wrong with my blackberry…annoying!!!

Announcement!! :)

As most of my readers know the Hubs and I have been trying to get pregnant since June 2009, We had decided to wait till after the first trimester to tell people, (A very few know, My sister, Best friend, and My mom, and online friend’s Kerstin, Nancy and Kama) So I’m writting to announce that we are 12 weeks pregnant as of today and soooo very excited and happy not just about the baby but because we can finally talk openly about our little one!! Its been so hard to blog and not be able to talk about what I’ve been going through. Yay!!!!! :)

I had a doctors appointment Friday the 23rd, It went great and I got to hear the very strong heartbeat of our baby! I recorded it and emailed it and texted it to the people who already knew. She said everything was perfect and right on track. They drew bleed, Did my pap, Weighed in (no gain yet) holding at 162 lbs, Checking my bleed pressure all that good stuff!!

I’m canceling on Monday!

No,No,No not my account here but my subscription to Prevention Magazine…its sad to say but it is one SCRATCH THAT was my favorite magazine till yesterday afternoon when I opened my mail box I was pumped to see it in then brought it inside and set it on the table for those of you who don’t know it comes is a plastic sleeve so you can’t see the cover so while having dinner I ripped it open to read woohoo I thought as I ripped through the plastic and then I see Michelle Obama on the front (she’s not my favorite person but its cool she’s fit and healthy) but as I look at her I’m like WTF?? They totally slimed her legs,butt,tummy etc’ ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! She’s black okay she has good size legs and booty and in no way should they be slimming her down, for fucks sakes she works out every morning. I’m so pissed I’m calling and canceling my favorite magazine!!! I guess I always knew they slimed people but they never have someone so well known on their cover so it really stands out!!! Stupid! Like she isn’t healthy enough! She should go on every show and talk about this to show she’s against it. Unless she’s not, but a lot of little girls look up to her so I think she should. Anyways…Have any of you seen the cover or have any comments let me know :)

Blah day…

I’m having a blah day its raining and crappy here and I don’t have anything to blog about! Hope everyone is having a better day then me!

So you screwed up that doesn’t mean you give up!

I read blogs daily here on buddyslim even on days when I don’t post it keeps me on track and motivated!

What I don’t like is when I read a blog about how someone ate a bag of chips, its not that them slipping off track bothers me, its the way they go on to say “well I messed up so I figured what the hell and eat everything in sight” aaaaahhh!!!! Well so what you ate a bag of chips you whatever it happens to be. You slipped on and made a bad choice. Instead of messing up the rest of your day and getting way of track why not use the rest of the day to make better choices to help counter act any damage you did with the chips etc’

So what we’re human we make mistakes! You need to be stronger and realize your better then this, Make your next choice HEALTHY!!!

Yesterday I received positive feed back on my blog and I wanted to thank everyone who commented on it, Thank You!! :)

Slow start to my day even though I was up at 6am Just finished my tasty breakfast and did some dishes…well half of them (I hate doing dishes) plus I need to start laundry and while I’m waiting for that to finish so I can switch it to the dry I plan on getting in 20 minutes of Yoga I also have to get some firewood in, The Hubs said he’d take care of it when he gets home from work but I always feel bad if he has more work once he gets home…Ya know? So I’m going to at least get a start on it, Our wood rack holds 5 wheel barrows rounded which is a lot of wood and when he gets home its already dark here in Maine (6pm) Pretty soon it will be dark at 3pm eekk…winters coming!!!! Have a good day :)

Commitment Everyday!

What does it take everyday to stay on track and loss weight or at least maintain your goals…it takes a RECOMMITMENT to yourself every morning to put yourself first, to say wait a f’n minute I’m more important then taking the trash out, doing dishes,laundry etc’ So please re-commit to yourself everyday to stay on track, to be healthy and to put yourself first! It could mean life or death for some and how much are you going to get done if you die? Put off returning those phone calls, pick one day a week to return calls put it on your voicemail that you’ll only be returning calls or emails on (X) day a week. Its not that hard and you need to do it for yourself! In a past blog I wrote “if its not one thing its another” and that is how life is. Its hard, Life isn’t easying and losing weight isn’t easy but you know what? Gaining a ton of weight isn’t easy either, think about how much time you spend sitting around on your ass and eating all day…Hello that’s not living!! Your just wasting your life. Life is short and you only get one. So how about you stop f’n wasting it!! Get off your ass and start living!

Not to much to blog about on the freezing cold Sunday.

I’m just watching the Saints kill the Giants 48-20 with 6 minutes left.

The Hubs put in the new Sub floor in our guest bath today. (That’s the floor before you lay the good flooring) Nothing worth taking photos of yet hopefully soon. He works hard all week and Saturday so I don’t push him to do anything on Sunday.
Foods been good, Workouts…naw I haven’t done much other then clean the house, Oh well! But my calories are right on track and since I’m no longer trying to lose weight I right were I should be!

Just to feel that fire.

Good afternoon Buddies.

I was sitting here for the past few minutes just looking at my blog with nothing to write about…So I emailed some friends from here threw myself a pity party if you will…and now I’m ready to say something anything!

Well maybe not, since I really have nothing to say, Workouts…what the hell is a workout? Don’t get me wrong I know what it is I just haven’t been doing them. I did bring in a ton of fire wood yesterday its been so f’n cold here!! On a good note Buddies I still haven’t gained any weight! Right at 162lbs (sigh) I’m out of things to say. Later!

P.S. The Balloon Boy thing…his parents are whacko’s they totally did it to get on TV again (they did wife swap and have a ton of videos on youtube) did you hear what the kid said on tv Last night? When asked why he didn’t come out of the hiding spot
“We did it for a show” etc’ I hope they make them pay back all that money wasted in a useless search for a kid that they told to go hide and not come out! I hope no other kids were stolen that day around there because the police were to busy with a bunch of whacko’s!!! What the f is wrong with people!!!
